GC Hall of Famer Finishes Final Stage of PGA TOUR Q-School

WINTER GARDEN, Fla. – Georgia College Athletics Hall of Famer David Robinson finished his final round of the final stage of PGA TOUR Q-School Monday, posting a plus-10 six-round score of 439.

Robinson shot a first-round 73 on the par-72, 7,493-yard Crooked Cat course, following that up with a 72 on the par-71, 7,350-yard Panther Lake course. He then added a 71, switching back to Crooked Cat. Rounds of 72, 73 and 78 followed.

One of 166 golfers vying for PGA TOUR cards, Robinson was unable to join the top-25 players and ties in order to receive cards for 2011. He also missed Nationwide Tour cards status for 2011, but did receive conditional Nationwide Tour status.
