Cobras Drop Opening Game of Zaxby's Tip-off Clazzic

FLORENCE, S.C. – Liam Kyle (Cleveland, Ohio) paced the Cobras with 19 points, eight rebounds and five steals in Coker’s 86-69 loss to local rival Francis Marion University on Friday night in their first game of the 2010 Zaxby’s Tip-off Clazzic at Francis Marion.

The Cobras shot just 43.1 percent from the field, while committing 20 turnovers in the game. Coker also struggled from the free throw line, shooting just 56.7 percent.

Along with Kyle, Tom Wright (Sydney, Australia) and Delonte Doles (Roswell, Ga.) each tallied double figures with 15 and 10 points respectively.

Coker returns to the floor on Saturday for their final game of the Clazzic against UNC-Pembroke. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
