THE STARTING FIVE
· Millersville ended its two-game slide with a 66-52 win over Lincoln and will not try to string together consecutive victories for the first time since in nearly a full year. The last time the Marauders won two in a row was Dec. 7 and Dec. 12, 2009.  University of the Sciences comes into the game on a roll. Since losing its opening game to Cheyney, it has notched four-straight victories--all over PSAC Eastern Division teams. Millersville is 2-1 at home this year and the Devils’ only loss came on the road. Last year, the Marauders went to Philadelphia and came home with a 61-50 victory. Mike Seibert and Jim Kelleher combined for 20 points on five 3-pointers off the bench.
· Thursday’s match-up pits two conference freshmen of the week. Millersville’s Mike Holley was named PSAC East Freshman of the Week for the second time this year on Monday and the Devils’ Tyrone Mann-Barnes was named CACC Rookie of the Week. In the Devils two games last week, Mann-Barnes averaged 17.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists as USciences recorded a perfect 2-0 week.  He shot 64.7 percent from the field and 6-of-9 from 3-point range. He also made a buzzer-beating 3-pointer to knock off East Stroudsburg. Holley led Millersville with 15 points and also registered career highs with eight rebounds, six assists and four steals.
· The first team to 65 points might be the winner. Millersville ranks 15th in the PSAC in scoring offense with 66.8 points but has not scored more than 66 in the last three games. Millersville also ranks 15th in the league in shooting percentage and is one of only two teams shooting under 40 percent from the field. USciences has scored more than 60 points just once this season.
· Millersville has won with defense this year. The Marauders rank second in the PSAC in blocked shots with an average of 6.0 per game. Bernard Brown ranks second with 2.5 blocks per game and Rob Wyley is seventh with 1.5 blocks per game. Millersville has blocked at least three shots in each game this year.
· Rob Wyley is currently the PSAC leader in rebounding with an average of 10.8 per game. Only five players in the conference are averaging double-digit rebounds. Nearly 40 percent of Wyley’s rebounds have come on the offensive glass. Millersville has pulled down at least 20 offensive rebounds in each game this year and has scored 59 second-chance points. The team currently ranks eighth in the 16-team league in rebounding margin.

ABOUT THE DEVILS
· University of the Sciences is off to a surprising start. Last year, the team posted a 7-20 record and was defeated at home by an eight-win Millersville squad. USciences returned four starters and added freshman Tyrone Mann-Barnes and has won four in a row since losing to Cheyney in the season opener. USciences could be a measuring stick game for Millersville as the Devils defeated West Chester by three, Bloomsburg by two, East Stroudsburg by two and Kutztown, 89-76.
· USciences has not been impressive offensively, but is getting wins because of a stingy defense. The team averages just 59.6 points per game but has held opponents to 58.08 points per game.
· Adewale Adefemi was named Sam Cozen Small College Players of the Week by the Philadelphia Area Small College Coaches Association. The senior is a do-it-all player for USciences, leading the team in scoring (12.8) and rebounding (10.8).
