Community Appreciation Night encompasses the entire weekend from Friday morning until Saturday night. The weekend begins on Friday at 7:15 with the Eggs and Issues Breakfast in McCulley Hall where Dr. Steven Tallant and Mayor Sam Fugate will talk about the relationship between the university and the community. The final event of the weekend is the Boy Scouts Camp Out in Javelina Stadium after the game. In between, there are a number of events occurring.
EmbroidMe will be sponsoring a canned food drive. The first 500 people to bring at least five canned good items to the game will be given a free T-shirt.

Friday
7:15 a.m. – Eggs and Issues Breakfast, McCulley Hall ($10 with all money going to Make-A-Wish Campaign)
3:45-4:15 p.m. – Registration for Take A Kid to the Game Football clinic (Practice Field)
4:15-5:15 p.m. – Football clinic sponsored by Whataburger for boys ages 12 and under. (Practice Field)
7:00 p.m. – Javelina 1960 & 1970 Football and Track & Field Reunions (McCulley Hall)
Saturday
All-Day – Javelina Reunions
1:00 p.m. – Kingsville and Ricardo Youth Football Championship (Javelina Stadium)
5:30 p.m. – Track and Field Donut Eat-Off (Tailgate Area)
5:30 p.m. – Fellowship of Christian Athletes Rally (Nolan Ryan Field)
5:30 p.m. – Collection of Toys for Tots campaign, Kingsville Boy Scouts Food Drive and Make-A-Wish
7:00 p.m. – Javelina Football Game honoring 21 seniors
Half-time – H.M. King High School band will perform before the Pride of South Texas Javelina Marching Band
After the Game – Boy Scouts Camp Out (Javelina Stadium)
