Lawson, Schafer, Vavra Win Multiple Events in Swimming Dual Victory over Mansfield

EAST STROUDSBURG – East Stroudsburg University won all 12 individual events and both relays to post a 170-69 win over Mansfield in a swimming dual meet on Saturday at Koehler Fieldhouse.

Eight different Warriors won individual events, including three victories for sophomore Kimberly Lawson in the 100 back, 100 free and 200 IM. Sophomore Sami Vavra (50 free, 200 breast) and freshman Allison Schafer (1000 free, 200 fly) both posted a pair of wins

Seniors Caitlin Fallon (100 breast), Sarah Roscioli (100 fly) and Amy Rowland (500 free), sophomore Tara Robinson (200 free) and freshman Katie McKee (200 back) also won individual events.

ESU had the top times in both relays. McKee, Vavra, freshman Andrea Tremper and Lawson won the 200 medley relay in 1:59.23, and Robinson, sophomore Ana Osowski, Fallon and Roscioli took the 200 free relay in 1:45.75.

The Warriors are back in action this weekend at the Kutztown Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
