Former Bobcat Johansson Advances to Final Stage of European Q-School

JEREZ, Spain – Four-time All-American Georgia College golfer Niclas Johansson (2007-10) has advanced to stage three of the qualifying steps for the European Tour, after taking 16th Sunday at Arcos Gardens.

Johansson fired a four-round 288, good for even par on the par-72, 7,383-yard course. His scores were up and down, firing a 70, 75, 70 and then 73 over the four rounds.

The final stage is set for Dec. 4-9 at the PGA Golf Catalunya Resort in Girona, Spain. With a 108-hole final stage, Johansson will be one of 156 golfers vying for the 30 available tour cards for next season.
