FSU takes commanding lead in Southern Division standings

CHARLOTTE, NC – It didn’t take long for the Fayetteville State Lady Broncos to assert themselves as the class of the CIAA’s Southern Division in bowling.

Over the course of three days in Charlotte, the Lady Broncos finished the weekend unbeaten in 15 matches, cruising to a 15-0 mark after a series of matches against its Southern Division rivals on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Led by Akira Turner’s (Sr., Detroit, MI) 194.8 average, Fayetteville State placed all five of its bowlers into the top 14 individuals in the CIAA, with four placing among the top 6.
