Bloomsburg Men's and women's Track Teams Compete at Lehigh

BETHLEHEM--The Bloomsburg University men's indoor track team competed in their final event before the semester break when the Huskies took part in the Lehigh Fast Times meet in Bethlehem.

Highlights for the men included Devin Barr (Pottstown, Pottsgrove) finishing third in the 200-meter dash in 23.04 seconds, and was second in the 60-meter dash in 7.22 seconds.

In the 400-meter dash Jessie Mustapha (Philadelphia, University City) took first in 50.79 seconds, while at 800-meters Zach Eyer (Berwick, Berwick Area)was sixth in 2:06.26.

In the pole vault Matthew Stuck (Milton, Milton) took first with a mark of 4.35 meters ( 14'00"),while in the shot put Jack Rosenstein (Shohola, Delaware Valley) with a toss of 13.74 meters.

In relay action the Huskies 4 x 400 team of Barr, Mustapha, Bryan Hennessey (Lower Gwynedd, Pennridge) and Cal Rosenstein (Shohola, Delaware Valley) took first in a time of 3:31.75.

The Huskies will be idle till their winter training trip Jan. 8-15.

WOMEN

BETHLEHEM--The Bloomsburg University women's indoor track team competed in their final event before the semester break when the Huskies took part in the Lehigh Fast Times meet in Bethlehem.

In the 60-meter dash Kaila Hassler (Schnecksville, Parkland) finished sixth in 8.36 seconds, while Meagan McGreehan (Landisville, Hempfield ) was 10th in 8.51 seconds. In the 200 meter dash McGeehan was ninth in 27.75 seconds with Hassler 11th in 28.14 seconds.

In the 800-meter competition Jessica Segeleon (Bridgeville, South Fayette) took fifth in a time of 2:27.15, while in the 60-meter hurdles Michelle Christmann (Oradell, NJ, River Dell) was seventh in 10.71 seconds.

In the pole vault Ashley Mancil (Bloomsburg, Bloomsburg) won the competition with a mark of 3.15 meters (10' 00")

The Huskies will be idle till their winter training trip Jan. 8-15.
